Scooter Shock Absorber

Scooter Shock AbsorberIn the scooter segment, the shock absorbers are very good, but the comfort that can be derived from the motor-cycles or bikes shock absorbers, can not be expected from scooter-segment shock absorbers.

There are two shock absorbers assembled in a shock absorbing device for the rear wheel of an electric scooter. These two shock absorbers are assembled in between the rear wheel frame and in between the rear frame plate respectively. To fit each of the shock absorber with a rear frame plate, there is a threadably fitted adjusting ring on a tube. This tube is assembled with the rear frame plate by a bolt. This bolt is inserted through the inserted hole that is present on the tube. Apart from the bolt, there is one gasket and one screwed with the fixing threaded rod. To assist the gasket and the screwed, a compression spring is fitted around the tube. To assist the pushing process of the opposite ends of the compressive spring against the adjusting ring and the washer respectively, a washer and a protective ring are fitted around a lower rod and this lower rod is inserted in the tube. Through the insert hole of the lower rod, a bolt is inserted and with a bolt receiving member, the fixing hole of the rear wheel frame is screwed. This is done in order to combine the lower rod with the rear wheel frame.

To make the turning of the rear frame part relative to the front frame part, the front and rear frame part are coupled together in a scooter through a pivot unit. The front and rear absorber mounting members respectively formed the front and rear frame parts. These members are disposed frontward and rearwardly of the pivot unit respectively. Again, the left and right shock absorbers have front ends pivoted to the front absorber mounting members and the in the rear absorber mounting members, the rear ends of left and right shock absorbers are mounted. To absorb the shocks having of vertical direction and horizontal direction, each of the right and left absorbers from the rear absorber-mounting member to the front absorber-mounting member are extended inclined way and upwardly.
