Farm
equipment includes huge range of small and big devices that are used in
different agricultural operations. These equipments are operated either
hydraulically or electrically. The devices used in agricultural operations
transmit or modify energy to perform a variety of tasks. Some of the common
examples of the farm equipments are:

Shock absorbers used in these equipments are referred as farm equipment
shock absorbers. Farm equipment shock absorber are designed to minimize the
jerks and bumps and give the smooth operation to the equipments. In
different equipments these shock absorbers are placed differently. For
example in tractor it is placed between the cab and the wheels whereas in
smaller equipments it is placed according to their nature of operation.
Farm
equipment shock absorber comes in different sizes depending on the size and
application of the equipment. Either gas shock absorber or hydraulic shock
absorber is used in these equipments.
In farm vehicles like tractors, combiners or harvesters these shock
absorber are attached at the end of the piston rod which works opposite
hydraulic fluid in the pressure tube. In gas shock absorber the end of the
piston contains nitrogen gas that prevents aeration and hence the safe and
smooth operation.
